New Delhi, Dec 10 (UNI) Bollywood film star Sanjay Dutt, released on bail by the Supreme Court on November 27, today met UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi here, sources in the film trade said.

Dutt, who arrived here last night on a short visit to the capital city, had a brief meeting with the Congress president at her 10, Janpath residence, the sources said.

The meeting, which was descibed by the sources as a "personal meeting", lasted for just 15 minutes.

Dutt is said to have arrived in the capital from Goa where he was on a nearly two week holiday after his release from Yerawada jail in Pune on orders of the Supreme Court.

The actor is likely to fly back tonight or tomorrow to Mumbai, where he is to begin shooting for an under production film which also features Bollywood actor Urmila Matondkar with whom Dutt earlier starred in 'Khoobsoorat'.

The shooting schedule of the film, being produced by Bollywood actor Suneil Shetty, will last nearly a month.

'Easy Monthly Installment'(EMI) has Dutt play a harassed, economically challenged middle class man.

'EMI' is about a couple who cannot bear the burden of their monthly installments.

It is the first film for which Dutt will shoot after his release from yerawada Jail on the apex court orders.

Dutt was released on bail by the Supreme Court on November 27 in a case in which he was sentenced to six years imprisonment by the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act court in July, in connection with the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts.

He was released on bail for a while because the copy of the judgement had not been given to him after it came from the TADA court. Dutt was sent back to Yerwada jail in Pune where he spent about 37 days.
