Panchkula to get Rs 280 crore under JNNURMS

Chandigarh, Dec 10 (UNI) The Central government has sanctioned Rs 280 crore for Panchkula district in Haryana under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission Scheme.

This was stated by Panchkula Deputy Commissioner Rajinder Kataria while presiding over the meeting of all district level officers of different departments at Panchkula today. The issues regarding the effective implementation of the scheme were discussed in the meeting.

He said that under this scheme, the area of Pinjore, Morni and Barwala would also be covered.
