Ahmedabad, Dec 10 (UNI) Rebel BJP leader and former Gujarat Home Minister Gordhan Zadafia today said Narendra Modi and his BJP party, which he termed as 'Modi-BJP', will badly lose in the state Assembly polls, to be held on December 11 and 16.

''The Modi government will lose and Congress will get maximum number of seats in Saurashtra, Kutch and South Gujarat regions, where the first phase of polling for 87 seats of Assembly will be held tomorrow,'' Mr Zadafia told mediapersons here.

He said in the first phase of polling, Congress is likely to win around 50 seats, while the BJP will not get more than 35 seats.'' Mr Zadafia said his plank 'Sardar Patel Utkarsh Samiti' has succeeded in its plan to oust the Modi government by organising many farmers meetings to expose the anti-farmer policies of the Modi government and it has created such an atmosphere that the farmers will vote against Mr Modi.

''The BJP's election manifesto, like the Congress, claims to provide 14 hours of electricity for irrigation. It has therefore failed to attract voters, the rebel leader added.
