Journalist Yashwant Argare passes away

Bhopal, Dec 10 (UNI) Veteran journalist Yashwant Argare died at a hospital here this morning after a brief illness.

He was 80.

Argare was earlier associated with English daily 'The Hitavada' and other local newspapers.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Argare, who had made significant contribution in the state's journalism. Mr Argare espoused nationalist thought in his writings, he added.
