Committee appointed for metro railway land acquisition

Mumbai, Dec 10 (UNI) A steering committee, headed by Chief Secretary Johny Joseph, has been appointed to solve the problems that may arise while acquiring the land for constructing Versova-Andheri-Ghatkoper metro railway.

Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh made this announcement in a meeting for officials of Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Development Authority.

Delegates from Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, Reliance and several others were also present at the meeting.
