Armed miscreants loot Rs 1.35 lakh from petrol pump

Nawada, Dec 10 (UNI) A group of armed miscreants looted Rs 1.35 lakh from a petrol pump near Jhunjhunwa More under Akbarpur police station in the district last night, police said today.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar said the miscreants took the treasurer of the petrol pump into their custody, looted the cash from the counter and fled after injuring an assistant.

Meanwhile, police had reached the spot and were interrogating the staff of the petrol pump about the incident.
