TN CM greets Sonia on her birthday

Chennai, Dec 9: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today greeted All India Congress Committee President Sonia Gandhi on the occasion of her 61st birthday. In his message, Mr Karunanidhi lauded Ms Gandhi for her role in protecting the secular fabric of the country and providing a role model to the Indian democracy.

The United Progressive Alliance under the leadership of Ms Gandhi has made remarkable achievements for the progress of the nation, he added.

The Chief Minister wished her a long, happy and healthy life.
