Barwani, MP, Dec 9 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Cooperative Minister Gopal Bhargava today blamed state Congress president Subhash Yadav for promoting 'parivarwad (clan rule)'.

Mr Bhargava told a press conference at Sendhwa that Mr Yadav was promoting clan rule by fielding his son Arun Yadav as Congress candidate for Lok Sabha byelection in Khargone.

He said the Congress had better candidates than Mr Arun Yadav.

Mr Bhargava alleged that Mr Yadav failed to develop his parliamentary constituency despite being at important posts for three decades. He was facing charges of corruption in several cases, he alleged.

He charged him with providing jobs to 25 relatives and friends by flouting rules.

The government was keeping an eye over cases filed against Mr Yadav.
