Sonia Gandhi's birthday celebrated

Hyderabad, Dec 9 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee, celebrated the 61st birthday of AICC President and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi at the party headquarters here today.

State Finance Minister K Rosaiah cut the cake on the occasion and inaugurated a health camp.

He praised Ms Gandhi's services to the nation and the sacrifices she had made. Several programmes like dental camp and eye camps were organised on the occasion. About 300 patients attended the free dental camp and among them 100 were school children.

State Health Minister S Chandrasekhar distributed spectacles to 1000 patients at the camp.

Several Congress leaders were also present on the occasion.
