Railway Minister offers worship at Tirumala

Tirumala, Dec 9 (UNI) Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad offered worship at Tirumala today.

TTD sources said the Minister was received in the morning at the temple entrance by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam(TTD) Joint Executive Officer G Balaramaiah with a traditional reception.

Mr Balaramaiah presented prasadam and portrait of the Lord to Mr Lalu Prasad.

He was also extended a temple honour with vedic hymns by the temple priests at Ranganayukulu Mandapam in the temple premises.

Before leaving for New Delhi by a special flight, the Minister worshipped goddess Padmavathi in Tiruchanoor temple, near Tirupati, the sources added.
