Rahul on one-day Amethi tour tomorrow

Sultanpur, Dec 9 (UNI) Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi would be on a one-day visit to his parliamentary constituency Amethi tomorrow.

Party sources said the Amethi MP would inaugurate the second training session of Nyay Panchayat chairpersons in Jagdishpur.

This is Rahul's third visit to his parliamentary constituency in the last one month. He had inaugurated the first training session of Nyay Panchayat chairpersons on December 1. After seven-days, the Congress leader again toured Amethi to attend its concluding session.

Earlier, addressing Nyay Panchayat level workers of six and two development blocks of Rae Bareli and Sultanpur respectively, Rahul had exhorted them to strengthen Congress upto Nyay Panchayat level.

Meanwhile, security had been beefed up ahead of AICC general secretary's one day visit.

Security agencies, including the Special Protection Group (SPG), which protects Gandhis, had already carried out a survey of the area to be visited by the VVIP.
