Jaya expels 13 AIADMK members

Chennai, Dec 9 (UNI) AIADMK General Secretary J Jayalalithaa today expelled 13 functionaries for alleged anti-party activities.

All the 13 functionaries belonged to Karur district.

Their primary membership of the party was stripped for having participated in a function along with Mr Natarajan, a former government employee and a political manager of Ms Jayalalithaa in 1980s, on December 1.

The AIADMK supremo said in a statement here that she had already warned the partymen several times to avoid meeting Mr Natarajan and also asked the partymen to severe their links with the expelled members.

Earlier, Ms Jayalalithaa had expelled 13 office-bearers of Tiruchirapalli District for violating party discipline and bringing disrepute to it by remaining in touch with Mr Natarajan.
