Cheetah falls into well, rescued in North Goa

Panaji, Dec 9 (UNI) A cheetah, which had fallen into a well last night at Bordem in Bicholim taluk, was rescued and sent to Bondla Zoo in North Goa today.

An alarmed advocate alerted the police after noticing the wild animal in his well this morning. The police took the help of an expert snake-catcher Amrit Singh, who laid a trap and removed the animal from the well before the arrival of the forest officials.

The animal, medium in size, was immediately sent to the Bondla Zoo for protection, police added.
