Catholic Mission stages rally on human rights in TN district

Tiruchirapalli, Dec 9 (UNI) Members of the Tiruchirapalli Diocese of the Catholic Youth Mission led by its Director Fr J J Lawrence today took out a rally in the city to propagate awareness about human rights in connection with the International Human Rights Day, here today.

The rally, inaugurated by the Corporation's Deputy Mayor M Anbazhagan was culminated at 'Our Lady Health Church' with a public meeting at Karumandapam.

Prof Nilamuddin of Dr Ambedkar Government Law College here and the state unit director of Tamil Nadu Catholic Youth Mission Robert Simon, were among others, who spoke on the occasion.
