Catholic Mission stages rally on human rights

Tiruchirapalli, Dec 9 (UNI) Members of the Tiruchirapalli diocese unit of the Catholic Youth Mission led by its Director Fr J J Lawrence today took out a rally in the city to create awareness about human rights in connection with the International Human Rights Day, here today.

The rally, inaugurated by city Deputy Mayor M Anbazhagan culminated in a public meeting.

Prof Nilamuddin of Dr Ambedkar Government Law College and Tamil Nadu Catholic Youth Mission Director Robert Simon, were among those who spoke on the occasion.
