Cambodian PM urges NIRD to extend services to his country
Hyderabad, Dec 9 (UNI) Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen today urged the National Institute for Rural Development (NIRD) here to extend its services to his country.
Mr Samdech, who came to the city along with a 31-member delegation on a two-day official visit, expressed desire that his country must benefit from the rural development being spurred by NIRD, a release said here.
The delegation interacted with the senior faculty members of NIRD on various issues like land and soil management, agriculture research activities and extensions. Discussions were also held on farmers' issues and steps to improve agriculture practices.
During the visit, Mr Samdech planted a sapling and visited the Rural Technology Park in the NIRD campus.
