BJP criticises Govt's laxity in changing school curriculum
Chennai, Dec 9 (UNI) Tamil Nadu BJP President L Ganesan today criticised the state government for changing the school curriculum after the academic year began.
In a statement here, the BJP leader charged that the curriculum of 10th, 11th and 12th standards were changed after the text books were printed for this academic year.
''The government had added certain removed contents in the tenth standard text books as per the demand of a Tamil scholar. The addition was made to disseminate the ruling party's ideologies,'' he alleged.
Though it was customary to change the curriculum once in every three years, the present changes were made according to the interests of the government, he alleged.
