Tirupati rly station to be developed as world-class: Lalu

Tirupati, Dec 8 (UNI) Railway Minister Lalu Prasad today said the railway station here would be developed into a world-class railway station.

Launching a special passenger train here, Mr Lalu said the officials concerned would be asked to conduct a survey for developing the railway station.

He ruled out privatisation of any sector in the railways.

The dedicated freight corridor along Mumbai-Chennai-Howrah sector would be developed shortly, he added.
