SP leader among 2 booked for abetment

Pilibhit, Dec 8 (UNI) Two people, including a local Samajwadi Party (SP) leader, were today booked in a suicide case Kotwali area here.

According to a complaint, SP leader Rajeev Tripathi had illict relations with one Geeta and allegedly instigated her to commit suicide.

Fed-up of the regular battering from mother Munni Devi, brother Amit Kholia and SP leader Rajeev, she took the extreme step on December 6.

The trio, in order to hide the crime, had performed Geeta's last rites in a hurry.

Rajeev and Amit had been arrested and sent to jail, while a search to nab the third accused was on.
