Maoists disrupt road connectivity between Kalimela and Motu

Malkangiri, Dec 8 (UNI) Maoists today disrupted road connectivity between Motu and Kalimela in naxalite prone district of Malkangiri.

Malkangiri district Superintendent of Police S K Gajbhiye said Maoists on the last day of their celebration of Peoples Liberation Guerilla Army (PLGA) week, today dug UP the State Highway 25, three km prior to Kalimela, and disrupted the traffic.

They dug up the highway three feet deep and three feet wide and put up banners against the government policy.

Mr Gajbhiye said combing operation was on in the area and efforts were on to nab the naxalities.
