Jammu, Srinagar included in mega cities project
Jammu, Dec 8 (UNI) The twin cities of Jammu and Kashmir has been included in a mega cities project by the Union Cabinet.
Both Jammu and Srinagar have been put under developmental projects, which would cost around Rs 600 crore. The cities have been included in Phase-VII of the National Highways Development Project for construction of ring roads, bye-passes, fly-overs in mega cities as a special case.
The project was conceived for the mega cities of the country and however, this would help to decongest the twin cities.
