Tribals threaten guerrilla style agitation in Raj

Jaipur, Dec 7 (UNI) Janjati Arakashan Bachchan Samyukta Sangharsh Samiti today announced holding state wide agitation and mahapanchayats on December 9 if their reservation was tampered with.

The announcment comes close on the heels of Gujjar Mahapanchyats for inclusion of their caste in the Scheduled Tribe category.

State co-ordinator Sri Narayan Kemla said the agitation may include blockade of national highways and rail networks, capturing state Assembly Bhawan, the residential premises of tribal MLAs and MPs and unfurling the tribal flag at all government buildings and holding of regional level panchayats.

He said the volunteers of the Samiti would also capture some important government offices in a guerrilla like operation in the state capital to express its resentment over the Vasundhara Raje government's anti-tribals policy in the state.

UNI
