Repoll on Dec 13

Ahmedabad, Dec 7 (UNI) If a repoll becomes a necessity after the first phase of the Gujarat assembly election, which ends on December 11 in 87 seats of 14 districts of the state, it would be held on December 13, Election Commission said here today.

Similarly the repoll, if necessitated, would be held on December 18, after the second phase is over on December 16, which would see polling for 95 seats in 11 districts, according to a release from the Chief Electoral Officer (Gujarat), here.

The counting for the 182 seats would commence on December 23 from 0800 hrs onwards, it said.
