No plan to reduce workers in PSUs: Minister

Palakkad, Dec 7 (UNI) Kerala Industries Minister Elamaram Kareem today said the government was not planning to reduce the number of workers in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).

Inaugurating the renovation works of Malabar Cements employees quarters here, he said by utilising the service of the employees, the government was planning to improve the functioning of PSUs in the state.

The Malabar Cements had registered a profit of Rs 46 crore after the LDF government came to power in the state, he added.
