Municipal councillor hacked to death

Mandya, Dec 7 (UNI) A municipal councillor was hacked to death by a five-member gang here today.

Police said the councillor Jadeja Ravi was attacked by the gang while he was travelling in a van from Eliyuru to Mandya.

Previous animosity was said to be reason for the attack.

Ravi was elected to municipal council in Congress ticket.
