Man gets life prisonment for killing wife and son

Dumka, Dec 7 (UNI) A person accused of killing his wife and son was awarded life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 by a local court in this district of Jharkhand today.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Alok Kumar Dubey today gave the verdict sentencing Gerai Murmu of Tilbani village under Raneswar police station to life imprisonment for committing the crime on March 27.

Villagers had caught Gerai with the bodies of his wife Sabri Hembrom and son Manoj and handed him over to police.

He had used stick and sharp weapons to commit the crime.
