Drizzle disrupts net practice for second day at Bangalore

Bangalore, Dec 7 (UNI) Preparations for the crucial third and final test between India and Pakistan beginning tomorrow, was affected for the second day in succession as weather continued to play spoilsport at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium here today.

The two teams were forced to practice indoors as light drizzle and dark clouds cover continued this morning. However, weather office officials said the cloud would clear and bright weather is predicted on the weekend and subsequent two days.

Indian players went to the ground but their practice session began late and ended early. Same was the case with the Pakistan team and practice session was called off early.

Sachin Tendulkar who suffered a knee injury kept out of the practice session while Saurav Ganguly who did not practice yesterday came out of the field this morning. MS Dhoni, who is a doubtful starter in tomorrow's match due to injury, was however, present at the practice session.

Speedsters Irfan Pathan and VRV Singh, who have been drafted into the team in place of injured Zaheer Khan and R P Singh, practiced at the nets.

The teams would have one more sessions if weather permits in the evening.
