CPI(ML-L) to contest Balagarh Assembly byelection

Kolkata, Dec 7 (UNI) The CPI(ML)-Liberation has decided to field its candidate Gautam Mondal in the December 29 byelection to Balagarh Assembly seat.

Mr Mondal had contested earlier from the same constituency.

'' We had contested Panchayat election earlier, but this time we will go the whole hog to win the seat,'' party general secretary Deepankar Bhattacharjee told newsmen here today.

The byelection was necessitated following the death of CPI(M) MLA Dibakanta Rout.
