Country is witnessing, not communal hatred but family feud: Seer

Thane, Dec 7 (UNI) ''There is no communal hatred in the country. What we are witnessing is a family feud,'' according to Jain saint Jayantsen Suriji.

Speaking to reporters here on the occasion of his 72nd birth-day, the seer asserted that it was the politicians who fomented communal hatred for their political gains.

The seer expressed serious concern over the increasing terrorist activities in the country and urged the citizens to crush the same.

He also expressed his displeasure over the proposed introduction of sex education in schools, saying such a step will harm the culture of the country. He also had a dig at the various TV channels telecasting objectionable material and demanded a total ban on them.
