Call money ends lower at 4.05 pc
Mumbai Dec 7 (UNI) Inter-bank call rates today closed lower at 4.05 per cent today compared to its previous close of 6.50 per cent.
During intra day, call rates touched a high of 5.00 per cent and a low of 4.00 per cent.
Dealers said being the reporting Friday, banks pumped enough funds in the system, which in turn eased the liquidity.
There are also reports of RBI buying dollars from the market, dealers added.
The Reserve Bank of India, through reverse repo, auctioned 11 bids worth Rs 6965 crore.
