BJP President Rajnath Singh to visit Mysore on Dec 13

Hubli, Dec 7 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party national president Rajnath Singh would be visiting Karnataka on December 13 to take part in a party function in Mysore, where a large number of leaders from Janata Dal(S) would be joining the saffron party.

Disclosing this at a public meeting here former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa said a large number JD(S) workers and key leaders had expressed their desire to join BJP and they would be joining the party 'without any conditions'.

He said former prominent JD(S) leader and former minister G T Deve Gowda, many other leaders belonging to Mysore and Chamarajanagar districts, BJP MP from Hubli Vijay Sankeshwar, who had left the party for a brief while, and former Union minister Babagouda Patil would be inducted into the party on that day.

He said the party would concentrate on highlighting the developmental issues during its campaign for the mid-term polls expected to be held in the state early next year.

Meanwhile, Mr Yeddyurappa said he was ready to face any inquiry on the 'bicycle scam' as alleged by JD(S) leader H D Revanna. "It was the Gowda family that was involved in scams and not anyone from the BJP. We are ready to face any inquiry. The truth will come out who is lying and who is not," he added.
