Acrex India-2008 in Bangalore from Feb 15-17

Chennai, Dec 7 (UNI) Energy conservation would be the theme of the Acrex India-2008, the interntional expo to be organised by the Indian Society of Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigerating Engineers (ISHARE) in Bangalore from February 15 to 17 next year.

The exposition, which would have 300 stalls and 30,000 visitors, would be a B2B and B2C meet.

Apart from domestic players in the field of air-conditioning and allied industries, players from foreign countries, including China, Korea, Germany and Thailand, would showcase their products and the latest technology under one platform.

There would be 36 lecture programmes with 18 faculties from abroad giving talk on environment sustainability, Expo Chairman Nirmal Ram and Convenor Pankaj Shah told reporters here today.

National Committee member Raja Sriraam said the Chennai Chapter of ISHARE was constructing a training institute at a cost of Rs 85 lakh at suburban Alapakkam.

The institute would train middle level engineers, technicians and offer advanced course for AC technicians, considering the growing demand for such skilled personnel in the industry.

The institute would be ready by August next year.
