4 senior IPS officers transferred in UP

Lucknow, Dec 7 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government tonight transferred four senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers in the state.

The transfer of DIG, Saharanpur range, M K Basal to PAC headquarters has been cancelled. He has been shifted to Devipatan in the same capacity. Whereas, the earlier incumbent Mr D L Ratnam has been released for study purpose.

SSP Bareilly, who was recently shifted to 9th Batallion, Moradabad (West), is now the new SSP, Gorakhpur. Whereas, Gorakhpur SSP Rajesh Kumar Rai has been attached to DGP headquarters.
