12 senior IPS officers shifted in UP

Lucknow, Dec 7 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government tonight transferred 12 senior Provincial Police Service (PPS) officers in the state.

Arvind Kumar Diwedi, the Regional Food Controller, Varanasi, and Registrar, Poorvanchal University, Jaunpur, is the new Additional Commissioner, Mirzapur.

Pilibhit City Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Mishra's transfer as City Magistrate, Agra, has been quashed. He has been posted to Unnao as Joint Controller, Consolidation.

Surya Manilal Chandra, stationed at Pratapgarh as Joint Controller, Consolidation, is the new City Magistrate of Agra.

Vice chairperson, Shuklaganj Development Authority, Unnao, Rampal Singh has been shifted to Industrial Development Department as Special Secretary.

Hridai Shakar Chaturwedi, who was awaiting posting, has been made Chief Development Officer (CEO), Mainpuri.
