Winter session of legislature likely to be stormy

Patna, Dec 6 (UNI) The brief winter session of the Bihar legislature commencing tomorrow is likely to be stormy.

The Opposition parties were holding meetings to chalk out their strategy against the government on the floor of the House on issues which include law and order, corruption and problems of farmers.

National spokesperson for RJD, the main opposition party in the Assembly, Shyam Rajak said there were several issues on which they were planning to put the government in the dock.

Leader of the Congress Legislator party in the Assembly Ashok Kumar said the government was not able to spend even 25 per cent of the funds sanctioned under planned expenditure in the current fiscal and his party would raise the issue.

According to the schedule both Houses would have six sittings each during the session which would conclude on December 14.

Meanwhile, the administration had promulgated prohibitory orders and members would not be allowed to enter the premises of the state legislative Assembly and Council with firearms.
