Vishwaroop takes over as NTPC Regional Executive Director

Patna, Dec 6 (UNI) Mr Vishwaroop has taken over as the Regional Executive Director(East) of NTPC Limitied with effect from December four.

Having rich and varied exerience of over 27 years with NTPC, Mr Viswaroop was at the helm of affairs of the public sector unit's Farakka and Singrauli plants as the Project General Manager before becoming the chief of new projects and Operations Services departments.

Later he was promoted to take charge of India's largest thermal power plant at Vidhyachal as Executive Director prior to take up his new assignment as the Regional Executive Director here.

Before joining NTPC, Mr Viswaroop was associated with the Damodar Valley Corporation for five years, NTPC sources here tonight said.
