Mr Goyal had quit the party post after expressing his disgust over organisational matters in Delhi BJP.

Party sources claimed that party president Rajnath Singh had asked Mr Goel that he should review his decision and work for the success of the party in Delhi and other places and he would assure to restore his 'honour' by asking the Delhi unit to take all its important decisions on 'consensus basis'.

Asked for his reaction Mr Goel, also a former minister in the NDA government, confirmed that the party had asked him to withdraw his resignation and he had agreed to work for the party's success in the ongoing elections in Gujarat as a ''loyal worker''.
