Two teachers suspended for assaulting school boy

Madikeri, Dec 6 (UNI) Two teachers of a private school were placed under suspension for allegedly beating a 11-year-old student here today.

The suspension followed an agitation by a group of people, protesting against the alleged ill-treatment meted out by the teachers to the sixth standard boy yesterday, who suffered serious leg injuries.

A complaint was also lodged against the two teachers in Madikeri town police station.
