School to pay tribute to Tata Steel on its Centenary

Jamshedpur,Dec 6(UNI) Narbheram Hansraj English School,a premier school of steel city here has chalked out a three-day mega event ''From Kalimati to Corus'' to pay tribute to steel major Tata Steel on the occasion of its Centenary celebrations.

Principal of the school Mita Jakhanwal said the media persons here today that the programme would be held from December 12 to 14. About 5000 students from 26 reputed schools would take part in the 13 events which included various cultural programmes, homage to the founder of Tata Steel J N Tata, music, movie making, collage making, drill display,fancy dress,street play and many other programmes,she informed.

Mrs Jakhanwal said apart form express gratitude to Tata Steel for providing quality life the denizens of the steel city,the aim of organising such events was to provide a platform to the students of here to showcase their talent.

''We also aim to inculcate leadership qualities and a feeling of brotherhood and team spirit'',she said.
