Pak FM arrives to attend SAARC meeting
New Delhi, Dec 6 (UNI) Pakistan Foreign Minister Inam ul Haq arrived here this evening to attend the meeting of the SAARC Council of Ministers being held tomorrow and on December 8.
During the two-day visit, Mr Haq will meet External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Foreign Ministers of other SAARC countries attending the meeting.
The two-day meeting will review progress on the implementation of the decisions taken at the 14th SAARC summit held in New Delhi on April 3-4.
Sources said Foreign Secretaries-level talks between the two countries would be held early next year to review progress on the Composite Dialogue Process.
Meanwhile, the meetings of the SAARC Programming Committee and the Standing Committee were held today to prepare recommendations to be submitted to the Ministerial meeting for discussions and followup action.
