Meet on Indian Psychology from Dec 26

Tirupati, Dec 6: A three-day national meet on 'Indian Psychology- Theories and Models' will be held in Bangalore from December 26 this year, Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR) Chairman K Ramakrishna Rao said.

Addressing in a press conference yesterday, he said tomorrow's national seminar, to be held here, would be the second in a series.

The ICPR has plans to set up the Indian Institute of Philosophy to create regional centres for the ICPR and initiate several new research programmes, including one on the national initiative on integration and inclusive community, he said.

The fourth seminar on 'Cognitive Science and Indian Philosophies of the Mind' is scheduled to be held at Allahabad University from February 29 to March 2, next year.
