Karthika Brahmotsavam at Tiruchanoor Temple

Tirupati, Dec 5: Ankurarpanam for the Annual Karthika Brahmotsavam at the temple of Goddess Padmavathi in Tiruchanoor was performed in accordance with the Agama traditions this evening.

'Senadipati Varu' went round the four Mada streets of the temple signifying the start of 'Karthika Brahmotsavams,' which was witnessed by a large number of devotees.

Earlier in the day, 'Laksha Kumkuma Archana' was performed to Goddess Padmavathi.

The Brahmotsavams begin with 'Dawajarohanam' (flag hosting) tomorrow in the auspicious 'Dhanurlagnam' between 0815 hrs and 0820 hrs.
