Italian orchestra to perform in Delhi on Dec 10
New Delhi, Dec 6 (UNI) Buoyed by the success of last year, leading Italian opera house Parma Royal Theatre Orchestra will again perform at Purana Quila here on December 10.
The 67-member orchestra will render a number of classical arias from well-known operas by some of Italy's best musicians like Verdi, Donizzetti, Rossini, conductor Donato Renzetti and Soprano Silvia Dalla Benetta.
The event is being organised by the Italian Embassy in association with Indian Council for Cultural Relations and Delhi Tourism.
Addressing a news conference, Delhi Tourism CMD Sanat Kaul said,'' Last year too, we used the same venue, Purana Quila, for the event. Whenever we organise events, whether it is Qutub Festival, Garden Festival or Mango Festival, we try to use historical monuments as backgrounds.'' ''Music has always been an intrinsic part of Indian and Italian cultures. The people of both countries are in love with music. So, when music is blended with cultural heritages, the end result is magnificent,'' he added.

The

Once

I

of
success

did
last

India

both
have
rich

what

a

will
leave
the
audiences
enthralled
