Coral Softwares Ltd launches ERP for SME

Kolkata, Dec 6 (UNI) Coral Softwares Ltd, a city based software solution, today formally launched CORAL erp (enterprise resource planning) at a cost of Rs 5 lakh or $ 20,000 for SME (small and medium enterprises).

Launching the software after a year of research and development, Company Managing Director and CEO Prem Chand Kankaria said the CORAL erp has been developed to empower Indian small and medium companies to manage their growth by challenging the ususal limitations posed by technology.

ERP is an enterprise application software that integrates all the departments, divisions and location of an enterprise under a single database which enables information sharing among these and as a result helps in better resource planning and customer satisfaction.

The company, launched in 1990, has planned to invest about Rs 200 crore in two phases in the next seven years until 2015. The software farm under the two phased plan would also set up institutions in all the states of the country to creat manpower needed for increasing demand for software experts, said Mr Kankaria.
