Bhattal asks Punjab Congressmen to campaign for HP polls

Chandigarh, Dec 6 (UNI) Punjab Congress President Rajinder Kaur Bhattal today called upon all workers and leaders of the Congress having links, relations and contacts in Himachal pradesh to actively campaign in the ensuing Vidhan Sabha elections.

In a press release issued here, Ms Bhattal made a fervent appeal to the Congressmen of the state to work and render whole-hearted support to the party candidates in Himachal Pradesh to ensure their victory.

She exhorted the workers to expose communal farce and double standards of the BJP with respect to eulogising the terrorists on the one hand and claiming votes on communal plank on the other.

''The people of Himachal Pradesh need stable and corruption free Government which only Congress could provide,'' she claimed.

According to General Secretary and Media incharge, Senior Congress leaders Raj Pal Singh and workers from Punjab have already reached the designated places to campaign for the Party candidates.
