Annual report of EPFO receives approval

New Delhi, Dec 6 (UNI) The Central Board of Trustees (EPF) today gave the go-ahead to the draft annual report on the work and activities of the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) for the year 2006-07.

Besides, the board also adopted the Consolidated Annual Accounts for the year 2005-06. The revised estimates for 2007-08 and budget estimates for the year 2008-09 were also approved, an official release said.

The decision to this effect was taken at the 180th meeting of the Central Board of Trustees (EPF). The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Labour and Employment Oscar Fernandes and attended by the representatives of employees, employers and the Central and State Governments.
