2 Shiv Sena activists injured in clash on Babri demolition Anniv
New Delhi, Dec 6 (UNI) Two Shiv Sena activists were injured in a police lathicharge following their clash with All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarrat (AIMMM) activists in the capital today on the fifteenth anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition.
Subsequently, the Shiv Sena activists blocked traffic at the busy Jai Singh Marg-Parliament Street crossing near Jantar Mantar, shouting slogans ''Delhi police hai hai'', alleging that the police did not provide adequate security to them when the AIMMM activists, along with those of the Popular Front of India, attacked them with swords and pelted stones.
''The police beat us with canes, while taking the side of the AIMMM activists who attacked us with swords,'' a Shiv Sena activist alleged.
