2 constables injured in landmine blast

Visakhapatnam, Dec 6 (UNI) Two constables were injured in a landmine blast at Edukulamma konda about 140 km from here today.

Officer On Special Duty Srikanth told UNI here that the blast occurred while a police party was removing bodies of the three naxals, killed in an encounter yesterday.

The mine was laid by activists of banned-CPI (Maoist).

The injured constables were admitted to a private hospital here, he added.
