Wife hires henchmen to kill hubby

Chennai, Dec 5 (UNI) In a shocking incident, a 34-year-old woman was arrested on charges of hiring henchmen to eliminate her husband at suburban Madipakkam today.

Police said, Sudarkodi, mother of a two-year-old child, had hired henchmen to kill her husband Devrai (45) as he suspected her fidelity.

There used to be frequent quarrels between the couple Sudarkodi and her husband, who were living separtely.

Devaraj was attacked by a three-member gang with lethal weapons while he was returning home from a hospital. He sustained serious injuries and was admitted to a hospital.

On a tip-off, police arrested Sudarkodi, who confessed to the crime, and khave registered an attempt to murder case against her.
