Trade unions block roads against privatisation

Jalandhar, Dec 5 (UNI) Members associated with different trade unions today blocked roads at different places in the district against proposed privatisations.

Members of the Punjab State Transport Workers Union blocked the vehiculer traffic near the Inter State Bus Terminal here against giving route permits to private transporters.

Khet Mazdoor Sabha members, peasants, agricultural and PSEB union members also blocked traffic at Nakodar road against the proposed unbundling of the Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) and privatisation in other areas.
